Sports, tourism and recreation have become trendy. The financial aid for sport associations from the Ministry of National Education and Sport and local governments facilitates the formation of an active sportive lifestyle and supports the prevention of health pathologies and social exclusion.
Today, an increasing number of people start to believe that one dollar invested in sports produces three-dollar savings for the health care system. Poland has been an EU Member State since 2004. According to Article †1 of the European Sports Charter, the Governments should enable every individual, whether healthy or disabled, to practice sports and the local and central governments should provide suitable conditions for this purpose. Thus, The Polish National Federation Sport for All has a strong foundation to build on.
